GEOKC offers a great devotional program called Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita Satsang Group to join its activities. This program was created by Pujya Guruji to spread the knowledge of holy Gita through Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita Satsang Group in our society on national and international levels.
By spreading the basic non-sectarian universal teachings of Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita and other Vedic scriptures, GEOKC is very thankful to all community members who spent time with us to join the activities of Gita satsang. Through this devotional program and related activities, all community members learn and help us to create a faithful religious community. This program gives us Vedic knowledge of Hindu scripture as well as the brilliant idea to promote the universal brotherhood of humankind.
Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita Satsang Group provides support and guidance to devotees to establish a true relationship with them, not only for a certain limit of time but for always as our friends, which also signifies that they are true devotees of God.
This program is specially created to make a faith-based community and offers many useful services and benefits to both our society and all types of people. We distribute holy gita to help and support people in many areas including educational institutions, temples, libraries, prisons, courts, and other public places.

This Satsang Center is full with the most attractive building art and architecture work of Holy Gita and really a place to remember to tell us that we all came from the same human society and world. Its construction is based on the background of Gita, where everyone can clearly see the image of Lord Krishna of the battlefield of Kurukshetra War where He addresses Arjun.
Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita Satsang is a non-stop program and held 365 days of the year without missing any day, only for Bhakti purpose. This program includes two attractive features to join and to gain knowledge of Gita. Firstly, the Gita Recitation in Sanskrit is prepared and scheduled for one year long process to hold every day in the Satsang Center. This all year around process begins on the first day of the first month (January) of each year, and ends on the last day of the last month (December). Secondly, to join the Gita Sansang Group all participants come on each Friday. It’s a great opportunity for anyone or by the time anyone visiting at GEOKC to get a chance to join this free program and get many benefits through its services.
The main goal of this program is to serve humanity through the immortal, non-sectarian universal teaching of the holy Gita with great spiritual knowledge without regard to any religion, culture, race, ethnic background, color, caste, or economic status.

The beautiful collection of heavenly messages of Lord Krishna
The Bhagavad-Gita or Song of God is a Sanskrit text from the chapter Bhishma Parva of the Mahabharata epic, comprising 700 verses and 18 chapters. The spiritual discourse on Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita is divided into several parts. All parts are created and based on the literary knowledge of Bhagavad-Gita describing the significance and meaning of the text. These parts include:
- Introduction and background of gita
- One of the most important Hindu Scripture
- Date and Text (Mahabharata)

Main Steps
Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita Satsang Group is working all around the world and provides many devotional services which give us a deep knowledge to understand all aspects of our human life with a sense of humanity and spirituality. In Bhagavad-Gita, Lord Krishna talks to Arjuna on inner peace and happiness. If you are interested in Bhagavad Gita or spirituality and really want to understand Bhakti Yoga in general, you can join this devotional program and get many benefits.
Anyone is welcome to join the Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita Satsang Group and take parts in the activities on the regular basis. Altogether there are ten steps including:
- Group meditation, singing devotional bhajans and kirtan.
- Distribution of Bhagavad Gita to all devotees, spiritual discourses on Gita given by the GEOKC main head guru (Pujya Guruji) of the program of GEOKC Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita Satsang Group, and chapters overviews (summary and discourse on 18 chapters including 700 verses one by one).
- Participation and group discussion of each chapter begin with the first chapter by Pujya Guruji of the program of GEOKC Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita Satsang Group, including a detailed explanation of the chapter and its verses to present the meaning and interpretation of the verses during the Satsang.
- The spiritual master always provides support and guidance for self study and advice on practicing at home for at lease 30 minutes daily. He also gives advice to everyone not to leave until all chapters are completed.
- Sessions begin on the first Friday of the month of January to continue the Gita Satsang, until the last Friday of the month of December, each year including all activities of the Gita Satsang Group, which provides great knowledge and experience to everyone. Every Friday a new session begins and continues until all chapters are completed, including discourses and discussion.
- After the end of the discussion of any chapter (every Friday), there will be an offering, a prayer for blessing of the deity (Lord Krishna), Gita Aarti, and prasad distribution.
- Every Friday sponsor family or any sponsor with the help of volunteers prepare fresh prasad in Lord Krishna’s kitchen for all devotees. First they offered prasad to deity (Lord Krishna) and then they distribute to devotees.
- For offering purpose on every Friday, everyone is welcome to bring fruits, nuts, flowers, and incense to offer to Lord Krishna (deity).
- The devotional tour ends on each Friday with the blessing of Guru and Prasad distribution.
- Participation and group discussion of all chapters is a non-stop process for spiritual progress of all devotees of GEOKC. To join, please check the Program Schedule (below).
